About the Role
As a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer at Solace, you will join a team of exceptionally talented engineers. Your role will involve owning the product workflow from initial design requirements through deployment. You will be expected to move quickly, committing code daily and seeing your work impact users regularly as you develop a revolutionary product from scratch.
Responsibilities
- Analyze product requirements and produce high-quality, production-ready code.
- Build and maintain new user-facing features from database models to UI components.
- Take full ownership of your work, ensuring every detail is accounted for every step of the way.
- Collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional teams to build a world-class product.
- Lead new initiatives to improve user experience.
- Create services and APIs to drive existing and new features for web applications.
- Maintain the health of our systems and codebase, making improvements and ensuring robustness and resilience.
- Write clear specifications to ensure product/code quality for stress-free deployment.
- Drive large releases to production on a continuous deployment cadence.
What You Bring to the Table
- 5+ years of relevant experience in both frontend and backend development.
- Strong fundamentals in React and a background in Typescript/Node.js.
- An intuitive understanding of creating consumer-oriented experiences.
- Strong communication skills, influencing product direction and bringing collaborative visions to life.
- Extreme bias toward action and execution, with a preference for writing and improving code.
