Job Overview

This senior full-stack software engineering role focuses on JavaScript, Node.js, and React. You will be part of the Shopping & Rewards Product Knowledge team, working on applications that utilize a variety of Cloud-managed services in highly performant, scalable full-vertical systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and release software across the stack from front-end to back-end.
- Develop new features, enhancements, and bug fixes for our micro-services, message queues, and batch jobs.
- Work closely with the Product team in an agile environment to bring features from conception to launch.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and shared knowledge.
- Engage in discussions about work optimization, including providing design insight and code review feedback.
- Handle inquiries from rewards platform stakeholders and respond to service interruptions as part of our support rotation.
What You Need to Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical education and experience.
- 3 years of software development experience with JavaScript and modern JS frameworks.
- Knowledge of data structures, object-oriented design, algorithms, exception handling, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with large-scale, highly available, and distributed systems.
- Experience developing automated unit, integration, and functional test suites.
- Experience writing SQL and implementing database design.
- Proven abilities in project and time management.
- Demonstrated desire for constructive collaboration, sharing and challenging ideas based on merit, learning, and growth.
