About the Role
At Famly, we are seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our Parent/Teacher Partnership crew. You will be a key player in developing scalable solutions that enhance our product and support thousands of daycares. This role is ideal for someone who is either a very strong intermediate or a solid senior developer, with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience.
What You'll Do
- Work alongside front-end and back-end developers, designers, and product managers.
- Take a leading role in planning, designing, developing, and deploying new features and changes.
- Collaborate with the Frontend and Backend Chapter to evolve our tech stack and reduce complexity across our codebases.
Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in building APIs using GraphQL and REST, primarily with Scala.
- Experience in functional programming using tools like cats, cats-effect, fs2, refined, and slick.
- Ability to develop modern single-page applications using TypeScript and React.
- Strong communication skills, capable of bringing clarity to complex ideas and projects.
- Fast learner, open-minded, and adaptable to new technologies and team dynamics.

Location
This position is available in Copenhagen, Denmark, with hybrid work options. We also consider candidates from Berlin, Germany; the UK (remote); and Lisbon, Portugal, within +-2 hours of CET.
