About the Role
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at YLD, you will be integral to our client teams, tasked with building innovative products. Your role will involve crafting scalable, resilient, and fault-tolerant architectures while working in a fast-paced engineering environment. You will be expected to be proficient in problem-solving and to communicate effectively within your team.
Responsibilities
- Crafting excellent products by building new features that meet the needs of our clients' customers.
- Continuously delivering changes to products as we move to a full CI/CD model.
- Collaborating closely with your team on engineering initiatives to push for continual improvement.
- Participating in regular show and tells to promote your work within the department and the wider company.
About You
You are a highly-skilled developer who exemplifies the highest standard in software engineering and enjoys sharing knowledge and experience. You are passionate about problem-solving and are an active learner who thrives in a collaborative environment.
Skills and Experience
- Proven commercial experience with React and Node.
- Proficient in JavaScript, including concepts like asynchronous programming, closures, and ES6.
- Experience with GraphQL and distributed version control systems like Git.
- Strong focus on continuous integration and delivery, and test-driven development.
- Experience in building high-performance and scalable applications.
- Good understanding of RESTful web services and familiarity with performance monitoring tools.
