Join Our Infra Red Team as a Senior Haskell Software Engineer
Are you passionate about Haskell and looking to take your software engineering career to the next level? Join our Infra Red team at Channable, where you'll work alongside six other talented Haskell Engineers. Our team is responsible for the infrastructure of a complex distributed web application, collaborating with the Infra Green and Infra Blue teams.
Your Role
As a Senior Haskell Software Engineer, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain new and existing features in our application.
- Work on scaling our Haskell applications to handle increased throughput while maintaining performance.
- Collaborate with product and DevOps teams to meet requirements and resolve issues.
- Improve the reliability and robustness of our application.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to high engineering standards.

Who You Are
- You have excellent programming skills in Haskell or a similar typed functional language.
- You possess approximately 4-5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- You have experience in tuning and scaling large applications.
- You are familiar with web development, web technologies, and APIs.
- You have a good working knowledge of Linux, Git, and the command-line.
- You are living in the Netherlands or willing to relocate, with a valid work permit if necessary.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Haskell libraries like warp, conduit, async, servant, aeson, compact.
- Experience with Nix.
- Familiarity with Python or other dynamic languages.
- Interest in automation and fast builds.
