As a Senior Software Engineer focusing on backend development, you will play a crucial role in solving shared challenges across product teams, delivering reusable tools and components, and enhancing developer productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Implement: Develop complex new functionalities with a strong emphasis on reliability, performance, security, and scalability.
• Code Quality: Write clean, secure, well-tested, and documented code.
• Technology Influence: Influence technology choices and architecture of newly built components and services.
• Reusable Components: Produce reusable code components and libraries for production use.
• Engineering Culture: Act as an ambassador for engineering culture values and advocate best practices throughout the organization.
• Mentorship: Coach and challenge engineers to adopt proper quality standards in coding and work methodologies.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience in software development using Python.
• API Design: Strong knowledge of RESTful API design, implementation, and documentation.
• Platform Development: Experience in software engineering with a focus on platform or infrastructure development.
• System Architecture: Strong understanding of system architecture, high-availability systems, and service-based architecture.
• Database Technologies: Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and data storage solutions.
