Senior/Lead Full-stack Developer (Next.js/Nest.js)

Job Overview

WinTech Digital is seeking an experienced Senior/Lead Full-stack Developer with a focus on Next.js for the front-end and Node.js/Medusa.js/Strapi for the back-end. This role is pivotal in enhancing our digital presence and managing our online store. The ideal candidate will lead a team of developers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable e-commerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and Maintain E-commerce Platform: Utilize Next.js to create a responsive e-commerce platform hosted on Vercel.
• Back-end Engineering: Implement robust solutions using Medusa.js and Strapi, ensuring seamless performance.
• Custom Plugin Development: Design and implement custom payment and fulfillment plugins for Medusa.js.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with teams to integrate new features aligned with business goals.
• Optimization: Ensure applications are optimized for speed, scalability, and reusability.
• Leadership and Mentorship: Lead a team of full-stack developers, providing technical guidance and conducting code reviews.
• Technical Decision-making: Drive architectural choices and establish coding standards.
• API Management: Design and manage RESTful APIs for web services.
• Database Management: Oversee database design, schema building, and querying.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in JavaScript: Strong skills in Next.js and Node.js frameworks.
• E-commerce Expertise: Experience in building scalable e-commerce solutions and payment gateway integrations.
• Project Management: Ability to manage complex projects and troubleshoot software issues.
• Leadership Experience: At least 2 years in a leadership role, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
• Architectural Skills: Ability to design scalable, maintainable systems.
• Mentorship: Experience in mentoring junior and mid-level developers.
• DevOps Knowledge: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
• Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making under pressure.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills for remote teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications

• E-commerce Experience: Prior experience with e-commerce, RPO products, or pharmaceuticals.
• Medusa.js and Strapi: Hands-on experience with these technologies.
• Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
