Join Our Team as a Senior Risk Analyst
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Risk Analyst to join our Risk Analytics team. This is a full-time, permanent position with flexible working conditions available at our locations in Berlin, Amsterdam, Heerenveen, Verl, Baden-Baden, Oslo, or Stockholm.
About the Role
As a Senior Risk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our team, contributing to the development and implementation of our risk strategy. Your main focus will be on mitigating risk in terms of affordability and solvency for our external end customers. You will work in a balanced risk decision environment, defining and developing our risk strategy, and constantly monitoring and steering it according to our company's vision to become the most human-centric FinTech.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively contribute to a high-performing team of credit risk and analytics experts.
- Continuously improve underlying data analysis and existing business processes to support product expansion in new areas.
- Provide risk insights for pricing requests and maintain close contact with various internal stakeholders for analytical requirements.
- Establish best practices for ad-hoc and deep dive analyses.
- Participate in the cross-functional team "Risk Data Science" to work on significant changes in machine learning-based models.
- Collaborate with BI experts to enhance overall monitoring/reporting and the application of advanced analytics.
- Work closely with other functions such as Risk Product (RPS), Fraud Risk Steering, Data Science, and Finance.
What You Should Bring
- Proven track record in data analytics, ideally within the fast-growing payment industry or FinTech sector.
- Relevant experience in a credit risk management environment.
- Expertise in using programming languages like SQL (mandatory), Python, and R (nice to have) for complex analytical tasks.
- Experience working in an international, agile, cross-functional environment.
- A strategic thinker with vision and a strong operator who gets things done.
- Language: English (mandatory); German or Dutch is a plus.
