Join BridgeFund as a Data Scientist in Risk Modelling
BridgeFund is seeking a proactive Data Scientist with experience in the Risk domain to join our team. Your primary focus will be to develop innovative risk models that calculate credit risk and help construct a healthy portfolio.
What You Will Do
- Analyse large and complex datasets to develop and continuously improve risk models.
- Utilize machine learning and statistical modelling techniques.
- Identify datasets that potentially enhance BridgeFund’s risk models.
- Collaborate with various teams to integrate risk models into lending decision processes and monitor their performance.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in risk modelling.
- Communicate complex risk findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stress test our existing portfolio and provide insights into the financial health of the organization.
- Construct a healthy portfolio where credit risks are managed and within our limits.
- Provide best-in-class strategies to collect delinquent debt.

What We Expect From You
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a successful Data Science role within the risk domain.
- Proficiency in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modelling techniques.
- Strong experience with Python and its data science libraries (e.g., numpy, Pandas, scikit-learn, XGboost).
- Familiarity with Open Banking and its applications in risk assessment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to convey complex risk insights to a diverse audience.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing risk models in a financial services context.
