About the Role
Volvo Cars is seeking a Senior Software Architect to join our dynamic team in Gothenburg, Sweden. As a Senior Software Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of automotive technology by leading the development of our software-centric platform. You will be responsible for driving the roadmap and improvements in our continuous integration (CI) flow and developing our test environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Define a common technical and architectural vision and roadmap for software and electronics integration, including frameworks.
- Continuous Integration: Lead the implementation of new functionalities in our CI flow and ensure seamless integration and testing.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, stakeholders, and test and integration developers to ensure our software and electronics architecture supports our business goals.
- Innovation: Adopt and integrate new innovations to create business value and improve efficiency.
What You'll Bring
- Educational Background: M.Sc. in Electrical and Software Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience in automotive embedded software and hardware systems, including software test and integration.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in software coding, CANoe, CAPL, VT-System, and HIL environments.
- Personal Qualities: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to solve complex problems, and a value-driven mindset.
