About the Role
Volvo Cars is seeking a talented and experienced Software Architect to join our dynamic team in Malmo, Sweden. As a Software Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing the next-generation high-performance in-vehicle compute cluster. This platform is designed to host various vehicle applications, ranging from basic vehicle state machines to advanced active safety and autonomous driving functionalities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers to prioritize, visualize, and follow up on functional safety work for different car projects.
- Lead a group of system engineers to deliver safety artifacts and guide development teams in their deliverables.
- Work within an agile organization to deliver software to our high-performance platform.
Who You Are
We are looking for a senior system engineer who is self-driven, a great communicator, and a proactive team player with high ambitions. You should have excellent knowledge or experience in the following areas:
- Functional safety standard, ISO-26262
- Automotive experience
- Project leadership or product owner experience
- Requirement management
- Embedded software
- Software development processes
