Job Overview
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team at Prezi, a full-cycle presentation platform used by millions worldwide. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing the Editor of Prezi Present, our flagship product. This involves extending and maintaining a modular, plugin-based architecture used by many teams within Prezi.
Responsibilities
- Extend and Maintain Framework: You will work on extending and maintaining the Editor framework, integrating changes from other components like the renderer and document access.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with Product Managers, User Experience Designers, and Graphics Designers to prioritize new features and maintenance tasks.
- Contribute High-Quality Code: Ensure the delivery of high-quality code to a complex codebase, optimizing user experience under various conditions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development with statically typed languages such as C++, C#, Java, or TypeScript.
- Strong product mindset and structured working approach.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both with technical and non-technical team members.
Bonus Points
- Master’s degree or further education in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
- Experience in developing systems where async communication, effective memory usage, and performance are crucial.
