About the Role
Picsart is seeking a Senior Web Software Engineer to join our Generative AI team. This role is pivotal in our mission to empower creativity through innovative web experiences. As a Senior Engineer, you will work on developing and advancing our Generative AI tools, focusing on image and video generation, and other creative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop functional, performant, and scalable web applications using React and TypeScript.
- Perform performance testing and optimizations to ensure high-quality user experiences.
- Build reusable React components and develop new user-facing features.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and analyze product design complexity.
- Plan workload, communicate risks, and mentor junior and mid-level team members.
About You
- Education: BS/MA degree in a highly quantitative field or equivalent experience.
- Experience: At least 3 years as a JavaScript Engineer.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, JSS, SASS, PostCSS, JSX, and experience with responsive/adaptive web design and single-page applications.
- Tools: Experience with PageSpeed, Lighthouse, Chrome Performance tools, Redux/Zoostand, and RESTful web services.
- Soft Skills: Self-motivated, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
