Senior Web Software Engineer, Dynamic Ads
PicsartPosition Overview
Picsart is seeking a Senior Web Software Engineer to join our Dynamic Ads team in Madrid. This role is pivotal in empowering users to create by developing functional, performant, and scalable web applications using cutting-edge technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using React.
- Perform performance testing and optimizations to ensure the best user experience.
- Build reusable React components and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Analyze product design complexity, plan workload, and communicate risks effectively.
- Train and mentor junior and middle team members.
Required Skills and Experience
- BS/MA degree in a highly quantitative field or equivalent.
- At least 4 years of experience as a JavaScript Engineer.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and related technologies.
- Strong experience with ReactJS, JSS, SASS, PostCSS, JSX.
- Knowledge of Responsive/Adaptive Web Design and Single Page Applications.
- Familiarity with PageSpeed, Lighthouse, Chrome Performance tools.
- Experience with JS and CSS performance optimizations is a plus.
- Experience with Canvas & Maths (Basic Geometry, Trigonometry, Transformation matrix, Two Dimensional Coordinate Geometry).
- Experience with Redux and RESTful web services is a plus.
