About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer at Agoda, you will be part of a dynamic and innovative team that is responsible for building and maintaining our full stack web and mobile applications. You will work on a variety of projects that span across different aspects of our products, including accommodations, flights, payments, marketing, post-booking services, and more. Our technology stack includes cutting-edge technologies like React and GraphQL, and we are constantly experimenting with new tools and techniques to improve our products and services.
Responsibilities
- Maintain ownership and responsibility for mission-critical systems.
- Build high-volume platforms using technologies like React and GraphQL.
- Mentor and coach other software engineers.
- Contribute to our agile and scrum practices.
- Design and lead crucial technical projects and initiatives across teams and departments.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- 5+ years of experience in web application development.
- Proficiency in client-side frameworks such as React, Angular, VueJS, etc.
- Strong HTML/CSS skills.
- Experience with agile methodologies, analytics, A/B testing, and continuous delivery.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
It's Great if You Have
- Experience with NoSQL technologies, queuing systems, containerization, and CI/CD solutions.
- Strong understanding of client-side performance optimization.
- Experience in a data-driven environment, working with big data.
