About the Role
Agoda is seeking a Lead / Staff Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team in Bangkok, Thailand. This role is crucial for our technology organization, working alongside individual contributors and senior leadership. As a key player, you will be involved in hiring and mentoring, designing and implementing new systems and components, and driving major architectural changes.
Responsibilities
- Maintain ownership and responsibility for mission-critical systems.
- Build high-volume platforms using cutting-edge technologies like React and GraphQL.
- Mentor and coach other software engineers.
- Contribute significantly to our agile and scrum practices.
- Design and lead crucial technical projects and initiatives across teams and departments.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- 7+ years of experience developing web applications using client-side frameworks such as React, Angular, VueJS.
- Strong understanding of HTML/CSS, object-oriented JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience with CI/CD, NoSQL technologies, and queueing systems like Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Excellent communication, coordination, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- A good command of the English language.

- Experience in physical architecture at scale, building resilient, highly available solutions.
- Experience in a data-driven company, analyzing and working with Big Data.
- Leadership experience in global projects serving world markets.
