About the Role
As a Lead / Staff Full Stack Software Engineer at Agoda, you will be a key player in our engineering team, responsible for developing and maintaining our web and mobile platforms. This role involves working with a variety of technologies and frameworks, including React, GraphQL, and TypeScript, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain ownership and responsibility for mission-critical systems.
- Build high-volume platforms using cutting-edge technologies.
- Mentor and coach other software engineers.
- Contribute to our agile and scrum practices.
- Design and lead crucial technical projects and initiatives across teams and departments.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- 7+ years of experience in web application development.
- Proficiency in client-side frameworks such as React, Angular, VueJS.
- Strong HTML/CSS skills.
- Excellent understanding of object-oriented JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with agile methodologies, analytics, A/B testing, and continuous delivery.
It's Great if You Have
- Experience with NoSQL technologies, queuing systems, containerization, and CI/CD solutions.
- Strong coding and design practices, including Clean Code, SOLID principles, and TDD.
- Experience in a data-driven environment, working with big data.
- Leadership experience in team and project management.
Location
This position is based in Bangkok, Thailand, with relocation provided to successful candidates.
