The Opportunity
Join Flock Safety as a Senior Software Engineer focused on Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies, where you will tackle complex technical challenges to empower communities in their fight against crime. This role is pivotal in enhancing our public safety platform's security and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain SSO integrations using JWT, OIDC, and SAML.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure authentication and authorization strategies.
- Optimize user provisioning processes and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in programming, particularly with TypeScript and SQL.
- Strong understanding of software design and development principles.
- Experience with JSON Web Token (JWT), OpenID Connect (OIDC), and Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
