Join Our Team
We are seeking a Software Engineer II to join our IAM Enterprise Federations team. This role involves working on Okta’s Customer Identity Cloud (CIC), which leverages Auth0 technology to provide seamless authentication and authorization services. You will be part of a team responsible for developing and maintaining Enterprise Connections capabilities, crucial for B2B SaaS and enterprise applications that integrate with various Identity Providers.
What You’ll Do
- Design and build features using Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript), AWS, Azure, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with experts to implement cutting-edge identity protocols like OpenID Connect, OAuth, and SAML.
- Maintain and operate services at a high scale, ensuring reliability and security.
- Work autonomously and collaboratively in a remote setting, communicating effectively with team members.
Who You Are
- You have at least 2 years of software development experience, preferably with Node.js or similar languages.
- Experienced with cloud environments (AWS and Azure preferred) and identity protocols.
- Passionate about engineering best practices and testing.
- Capable of handling high throughput/low latency systems and familiar with DevOps culture.
Extra Credit
- Experience with multiple cloud environments and integration projects.
- Knowledge of security engineering and application security principles.
This is a fully remote position, with an expectation to work in EST. U.S. person status is required due to access to sensitive government data.
