Senior Staff Software Engineer, Fullstack Frontend

Join Intuit's Mailchimp team as a Senior Staff Software Engineer with a focus on full-stack development, particularly on the front-end. You will be part of the First Time Use (FTU) organization, helping customers grow their businesses by integrating the power of QuickBooks and Mailchimp. This role involves leveraging tools across our platform to create seamless experiences that provide recommendations to drive revenue for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical vision for FTU with a platform mindset to build reusable components for the organization.
- Execute the FTU vision by deriving insights from customer behavior and research to optimize products and technology.
- Drive significant technology initiatives end-to-end, including horizontal layers of the organization.
- Ensure operational excellence to deliver highly available, scalable web applications and microservices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, design, and program management to maintain high-quality product experiences.
- Define and execute remediation steps to keep team velocity and deliverables high.
- Create robust, scalable, and secure technical designs, balancing short-term and long-term objectives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on software development experience, with a strong track record of building and operating large web applications with microservice architecture.
- Full-stack development experience with a focus on front-end technologies like React and JavaScript.
- Experience with backend technologies such as PHP, Java/Kotlin, TypeScript, Spring, and NodeJS.
- Proficiency in testing technologies like JEST, PHPUnit, and JUnit.
- Experience with cloud data warehousing tools like BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, and Clickhouse.
- Familiarity with cloud computing environments like AWS and GCP.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively to all levels of employees, customers, and management.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with instrumentation and experimentation technologies like Optimizely, Intellimize, Segment, and Amplitude.
- Familiarity with technologies like Large Language Models, Prompt Engineering, DialogFlow, SageMaker, and Python.
Workplace
Intuit Mailchimp operates as a hybrid workplace, allowing employees to collaborate in person with team members in our New York City office two or more days per week.
