Job Description
Join Trading 212 as a Senior React/React Native Engineer and make a significant impact on millions of users. We are looking for a talented engineer to help us achieve technical excellence and push the boundaries of frontend development. You will be part of a team that is responsible for creating and maintaining our iOS, Android, Web, and Desktop apps using a frontend monorepo approach.
Responsibilities
- Impact millions of users: Every change you push to production will affect millions of users.
- Achieve technical excellence: Work towards a vision of a frontend monorepo that produces Trading 212’s apps with a focus on efficiency and code reuse.
- Collaborate with design and backend teams: Maximize quality through effective communication and teamwork.
- Maintain code health: As a product company, code maintainability is of utmost importance.
Requirements
- Mastery of JavaScript: Extensive experience with JavaScript is essential.
- React/React Native expertise: Proven experience with React or React Native, and TypeScript.
- Understanding of HTTP: Good understanding of HTTP protocols.
- Attention to detail: An eye for detail and great communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a product company.
- Advanced TypeScript skills, including generics, discriminated unions, and conditional types.
- Experience with CI/CD.
- Experience with native mobile app development (iOS or Android).
- Experience with high-end web development and optimizations.
- Ongoing or completed CS education.
