Software Development Engineer in Test

Responsibilities
- Enhance and maintain automated test harness and framework using Python 3.X and tools such as Pytest.
- Support continuous test operations, including maintenance and development of test infrastructure and automated test run systems.
- Develop automated functional and performance tests using Python/Pytest and custom-developed test languages.
- Conduct manual product testing and data analysis.
- Develop web infrastructure to support automated test development and testing of product web features.
- Write technical reports and support mass test operation sessions throughout the year.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in software automation engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of Python programming language and its libraries.
- Proficient in debugging code and identifying issues.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Git and platforms like GitHub or Bitbucket.
- Proficiency with shell scripting (Bash, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with other programming languages such as C/C++, Java, JavaScript, or C#.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as PyTest, unittest.
- Familiarity with Selenium or similar automation tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and tools like Postman, Requests, or similar.
- Familiarity with SQL and experience with databases like MySQL, SQLite, InfluxDB.
- Experience with both Linux and Windows environments.
- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Willingness to continuously learn and improve skills.
