Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate QA Engineer to join our Payments development team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for offering global and localized payment products that serve millions of happy customers, ensuring they are processed safely and smoothly. You will develop features in services used by Booking.com flights product, testing API integrations, payment features, and fraud prevention flows.

Responsibilities

• Play an active role in an agile team throughout the lifecycle of analysis, design, development, and testing.
• Design and implement test cases to run in an automated environment.
• Execute both automated test scripts and manual testing when needed.
• Debug and fix existing failed automated test cases.
• Maintain existing automation framework and suggest improvements.
• Design and execute regression test suites.
• Work closely with software developers and product owners.
• Create bug reports and test bug fixes.
• Propose new testing methods, tools, and frameworks.
• Drive the quality assurance lifecycle.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in a software test automation position for backend applications.
• Knowledge of Java, with experience in Java development and/or creating Java automation scripts.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, TestNG, Jenkins CI, and Postman is highly appreciated.
• Strong command of the English language.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to grasp the big picture.
• Attention to detail and a strong testing mindset.
• Strong communication skills and ability to quickly establish relationships.
• Ability to prioritize quickly, act proactively, and adapt to changes.
• Thirst for knowledge and intellectual curiosity.
• Enjoy working in an agile environment.
