Remote Software Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Remote Software Engineer to join our agile development team. You will be responsible for developing high-quality code to build solutions in an agile environment. This role involves managing testing, coordinating deployments in multiple environments, and participating in code reviews, planning, and estimation meetings.

Key Responsibilities

Develop high-quality code to build solutions in an agile development environment.
Manage testing and coordinate deployments across multiple environments.
Participate in code reviews, planning, and estimation meetings.
Containerize, troubleshoot, create, and build images.
Operate with collaborative code repositories, using Git and Gitflow for version control and release management.
Engage in cross-discipline collaboration with team members, including product owners, designers, and testers.

What You Need to Be Successful

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in a related technical field involving coding.
2-5+ years of experience in software development.
Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.
A constant desire to learn new technology and best practices.

Nice to Haves

Experience with Javascript (ReactJS), PHP (Laravel).
Familiarity with Kubernetes/Containerization.
Understanding of Microservices Architecture, Serverless, and Cloud functions.
Knowledge of CI/CD, Pipelines, and related release and deployment concepts.
Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure Cloud environments.
Proficiency in Agile software delivery processes / DevOps.
Experience with MySql or MS SQL, relational and non-relational databases (NoSql).
Service API development, Rest/Json, Soap.
Automated Testing (Unit, Integration, Functional).
