About the Role
We are seeking a talented Remote Software Engineer to join our agile development team. You will be responsible for developing high-quality code to build solutions in an agile environment. This role involves managing testing, coordinating deployments in multiple environments, and participating in code reviews, planning, and estimation meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality code to build solutions in an agile development environment.
- Manage testing and coordinate deployments across multiple environments.
- Participate in code reviews, planning, and estimation meetings.
- Containerize, troubleshoot, create, and build images.
- Operate with collaborative code repositories, using Git and Gitflow for version control and release management.
- Engage in cross-discipline collaboration with team members, including product owners, designers, and testers.
What You Need to Be Successful
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in a related technical field involving coding.
- 2-5+ years of experience in software development.
- Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.
- A constant desire to learn new technology and best practices.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with Javascript (ReactJS), PHP (Laravel).
- Familiarity with Kubernetes/Containerization.
- Understanding of Microservices Architecture, Serverless, and Cloud functions.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, Pipelines, and related release and deployment concepts.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure Cloud environments.
- Proficiency in Agile software delivery processes / DevOps.
- Experience with MySql or MS SQL, relational and non-relational databases (NoSql).
- Service API development, Rest/Json, Soap.
- Automated Testing (Unit, Integration, Functional).
