Senior Frontend Developer

Overview

Betsson Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer to join their team in Valletta, Malta. This role involves developing and enhancing the company's frontend systems using Angular and other modern technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in frontend development and a strong understanding of JavaScript frameworks.

Responsibilities

Develop New Products: Utilize the latest technologies to build new products that enhance the company's offerings.
Contribute to Frontend Platform: Actively participate in the development of the company's cloud-hosted, multi-brand frontend platform.
Agile Development: Engage in sprint planning, task estimation, development, testing, code reviews, and deployment.
Feature Implementation: Implement new features and maintain existing functionality to ensure optimal performance.
API Integration: Work on RESTful APIs to ensure seamless integration with backend services.

Must-Have Qualifications

Experience: At least 6 years of experience in frontend development.
JavaScript and TypeScript: Solid experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
Frameworks: Proficiency in at least one JavaScript framework such as Angular, React+Redux, or Vue.js.
HTML & CSS: Strong skills in HTML and CSS.
Testing: Experience with unit and integration tests.
API Consumption: Ability to consume RESTful APIs.
Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile (Scrum) development processes.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Web Components: Experience with building native web components and micro-frontends.
Event-Driven Architecture: Knowledge of event-driven architecture.
Cloud Technologies: Experience with Kubernetes and AWS.
