Etraveli Group, a globally leading company in tech solutions for online flight sales, is seeking a passionate QA Automation Engineer to join our Frontend development team in Athens. As part of our team, you will contribute to developing features for services used by millions of customers worldwide, including those on Booking.com.

Position Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for testing a React application that serves millions of happy customers. You will need to have experience in software test automation, particularly for web applications, and be proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript. If you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy challenges, you will fit right into our QA team and the Etraveli Group family.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in an agile team throughout the lifecycle of analysis, design, development, and testing.
• Design and implement test cases to run in an automated environment.
• Execute both automated test scripts and manual testing when needed.
• Debug and fix failed automated test cases.
• Maintain existing automation frameworks and suggest improvements.
• Design and execute regression test suites.
• Work closely with software developers, UX designers, and product owners.
• Create bug reports and test bug fixes.
• Propose new testing methods, tools, and frameworks.
• Drive the quality assurance lifecycle.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in a software test automation position for web applications.
• Knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript, preferably with Playwright or a similar framework.
• Knowledge of Java is a plus.
• Experience in creating JavaScript automation scripts.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Testcafe, TestNG, Jenkins CI, and Postman is highly appreciated.
• Very good command of the English language.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to grasp the big picture.
• Attention to detail and a strong testing mindset.
• Strong communication skills and ability to quickly establish relationships.
• Ability to prioritize quickly, act proactively, and adapt to changes.
• Enjoy working in an agile environment.
