About the Role
As a Software Development Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing our software platform, SteelSeries GG. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to enhance our products and deliver exceptional gaming experiences. Your role will involve both backend and frontend development, utilizing a variety of technologies including C#, JavaScript, React, Python, Go, and C++.
Key Responsibilities
- First Month: Familiarize yourself with the team, our products, and our technical stack. Participate in team ceremonies and make your first contributions to the SteelSeries GG platform.
- First Three Months: Contribute to the evolution of our platform to support millions of gamers. Innovate and add new features to SteelSeries GG.
- First Six Months: Act as a multi-role engineer, developing software features across the product. Contribute to technical architecture and maintain clean code through proactive refactoring.
What We Are Looking For
- Approximately 5 years of software development experience with market-released products.
- Experience in application and system development.
- Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Go, Python, C++, C#.
- Experience with web application development using React or similar frameworks.
- Strong desire to work in a multidisciplinary team and continuously learn and excel in software engineering.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with our global teams.
