Overview
Join our dynamic and innovative team at Games Global, where we are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of technology in the gaming industry. We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Developer to join our team in Tallinn, Estonia. This role will primarily focus on backend development but will also involve contributions to frontend projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend systems using C# and the .NET framework.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Design and implement REST APIs for various applications.
- Manage and optimize SQL databases.
- Conduct unit testing to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Work with source control systems, particularly GIT, to manage code versions.
- Apply SOLID principles to software design and development.
- Collaborate with team members to foster innovation and improve development processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent working experience (at least 1 year).
- Proficiency in C# and the .NET framework.
- Experience with unit testing and source control systems (GIT).
- Knowledge of XML, JSON, and SQL database management.
- Understanding of SOLID principles.
- Experience with REST API development.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Willingness to travel for annual internal conferences in South Africa.
Beneficial Skills
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Familiarity with frontend libraries/frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Interest and experience in AI/ML.
