Job Overview
G2i Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer for AI Training Data to join our team. This role is focused on reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF) initiatives, contributing to cutting-edge projects. You will be part of an expert annotation team creating training data for the world's most advanced AI models. This is a unique opportunity to work with one of the biggest players in the AI/LLM space today.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate the quality of AI-generated code, including providing human-readable summaries of your rationale.
- Solve coding problems by writing functional and efficient code.
- Write robust test cases to ensure code works efficiently and effectively.
- Engage in a variety of projects, from determining which piece of Python code is better to creating full mobile applications using chatbots.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Proficiency in Python is required; willingness to work with Swift is necessary, though prior experience with Swift is not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to write efficient code.
- Experience with reinforcement learning is a plus but not mandatory.
Work Environment
- Remote: This position is 100% remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in the US, Canada, most countries in LATAM and Europe, and select countries in Africa and Asia.
- Flexible Schedule: Set your own hours, with an expectation of 15+ hours per week. There is no upper limit, and you can work as much as you want.
Compensation
- Hourly Rate: $22.05/hr - $50/hr, depending on location and experience.
- Payment: Paid weekly based on hours worked on the platform.
Interview Process
Our interview process is designed to be efficient and asynchronous, reflecting the nature of the work. It includes:
- Learning about the role in depth.
- Performing a simple RLHF code review.
- Passing ID verification and choosing your project.
- Completing a production-level RLHF task as the final interview.
