What You’ll Do

As a Software Engineer I, you will be responsible for developing software and tools that support our high-impact technology platforms, including operating systems, networks, and databases. You will ensure that our programs are user-friendly and free of bugs. Your role will involve:

• Developing and maintaining software applications.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
• Debugging and testing software to ensure quality and performance.
• Influencing design decisions to ensure hardware compatibility.

Minimum Qualifications

• A graduate or upcoming graduate of a technical degree or certification program from a Technical Boot Camp, Apprenticeship, Community College, or 4-year University.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience or recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related program.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as C/C++, Python, and/or Java.
• Hands-on experience with QA, Testing, and Debugging.
• Legal authorization to live and work in the United States without visa support or sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Linux, Networking concepts, OS fundamentals, Embedded Development, and/or Machine Learning.
• Experience with Databases, Web Application Development, and Web Services.
• Knowledge in Computer Networking and/or Cybersecurity.
• Familiarity with Cloud Platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
