Job Overview
Join Microsoft's Azure portal team as a Software Engineer, where you will be instrumental in democratizing the cloud through a fast, simple, productive, and beautiful single-pane-of-glass interface. Our mission is to enable customers to explore, learn, acquire, manage, and monitor all Azure products and services.
Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders to determine user requirements for features.
- Support the identification of dependencies and the development of design documents for product features with oversight.
- Learn to create and implement code for products, services, or features, reusing code as applicable.
- Assist in breaking down work items into tasks and provide estimation.
- Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) for monitoring system/product features/services for degradation, downtime, or interruptions and recommend actions to restore systems by following the playbook.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- Proven experience coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience with frameworks like React, Knockout, or Angular.
- Experience with large-scale application development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degrees in Computer Science or related fields.
- 1+ years of technical engineering experience.
- Deep analytical skills and an ability to abstract concepts.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, excellent communication, and cross-group collaboration skills.
