About the Role

We're looking for a talented and motivated Software Development Engineer to join us. Our team focuses on customer self-help and online support experiences for Microsoft 365 commercial and consumer users. We're pioneering game-changing features that will be integrated into every Microsoft 365 product, providing personalized insights and answers to our customers' queries and seamlessly connecting them with support engineers when needed.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test modern web experiences.
• Consume or implement APIs for customer-facing scenarios.
• Contribute to team-wide fundamentals/infrastructure investments.
• Implement data pipelines to measure and improve key metrics for the products.
• Collaborate with other Microsoft 365 engineering teams.
• Investigate and prototype new technologies and frameworks.
• Write and maintain unit tests and automated integration tests.
• Participate in team on-call rotation.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
• Software design and development experience.
• Extensive knowledge in Web technologies like responsive web design, React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, Angular.js, Bootstrap, etc.
• Strong problem-solving skills, independent troubleshooting skills, great teamwork, and most importantly, passion to delight users.
• Solid OOD/OOP knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Software design and development experience in Web, Mobile, and Cloud services.
• Extensive experience in Azure Service.
• Extensive experience in React.js development.
• Extensive experience in running and maintaining large-scale web services.
• Extensive experience in Microsoft technology stack.
