The Role
We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our Delegated Administration team. This team extends Auth0’s B2B features with functionality that allows enterprise SaaS applications to empower their business customers to easily set up and configure login and permissions for their users themselves. Our work is cross-cutting and heavily customer-driven.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers both inside and outside the team to design and deliver powerful new functionality.
- Support the team as a technical expert, ensuring the solutions built are robust, scalable, and reliable.
- Tackle the most complex pieces of work and create proof of concepts when breaking new ground.
- Drive technical improvements to our codebase and architecture.
- Mentor and coach less experienced engineers on sound engineering practices.
- Review customer interview feedback with Product.
- Lead by example.
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience using Node.js (JavaScript or Typescript) and creating and maintaining public APIs.
- Experience with both full-stack apps and backend services.
- A strong focus on building highly-reliable, maintainable, and scalable systems.
- Experience with Docker and cloud environments (AWS and Azure preferred).
- Good SQL knowledge and experience.
- Understanding and experience of DevOps culture.

- Knowledge of security engineering and application security.
