About the Role

Snowflake is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in solving our customers' most complex problems and closing large deals. You will work closely with the sales team and channel partners to understand customer needs, strategize on winning sales cycles, and provide compelling value-based demonstrations. Your role will also involve supporting enterprise Proof of Concepts and ultimately closing business.

Key Responsibilities

• Present Snowflake Technology: You will present Snowflake's technology and vision to both executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
• Hands-on Demonstrations: Work directly with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle, from demo to proof of concept to design and implementation.
• Industry Immersion: Stay updated with the ever-evolving industry, maintaining a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors, and how to position Snowflake in relation to them.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve Snowflake’s products and marketing strategies.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent experience. A Master's degree in Information Systems or similar is preferred.
• Certification: Snowpro Core active certification is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on expertise with SQL and Python. Experience with large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technology, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies.
• AI/ML Expertise: Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, including LLM and NLP, prompt engineering, chaining, and fine-tuning.
• Presentation Skills: Outstanding presenting skills to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos.
• Problem Solving: Ability to connect a customer’s specific business problems with Snowflake’s solutions.
• Fast Learner: Independently motivated and highly articulate.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary Range: The estimated base salary for this role is $152,850 - $212,625, with total on-target earnings of $203,800 - $283,500.
• Equity: This role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s equity plan.
