Internship Overview
Gecko Robotics is seeking Software Engineer Interns for Summer 2025. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be involved in the full lifecycle of product development. From initial planning to design, development, deployment, and iteration with users, you will gain hands-on experience working on projects that matter.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with software teams to design, code, and ship features that unlock insights from data collected by Gecko robots.
- Leverage software to enable data-driven decision-making and clean reporting.
- Build new aspects to improve the structure of existing data.
- Create the foundation for future software development at Gecko.

- Programming Languages: Python, React, Typescript
- Cloud Platform: Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Potential Teams
- Data Systems: Develop software to turn raw inspection data into deliverables, automate processing pipelines, and empower data analysis.
- Enterprise: Responsible for Gecko’s customer-facing enterprise software.
- Rolodex: Build and maintain a unified data model and drive data governance.
- Platform: Empower software engineers by reducing blockers and increasing development velocity.
Candidate Requirements
- Currently pursuing a B.S., M.S., or M.S.E. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Target graduation date between December 2024 and Spring/Summer 2025.
- Experience in designing secure data APIs.
- Strong passion for learning and growth.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High self-motivation and love of self-directed learning.
