About The Role
As a Software Engineer Intern at Sentry, you'll be more than just an intern. You'll write real code on real projects that ship to production. You'll be matched with one of our Product or Infrastructure Engineering teams based on your interests and experience. You'll design, develop, and ship programming solutions that drive real value to our customers.
What You Will Do
- Be responsible for leading a project from ideation to deployment, including writing a tech spec, scoping out work, technical implementation, and testing.
- Ship code regularly and receive meaningful feedback, coaching, and mentorship from your manager and teammates.
- Contribute to an open-source project every day.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or post-graduate degree program in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with Python, JavaScript, Java, or a similar dynamic programming language through internships, personal projects, or coding competitions.
- Experience working with GitHub and collaborating with a team on an engineering project.
- Ability to pick up new programming languages quickly.
- Knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
Additional Information
- This is a full-time position requiring relocation to Vienna for the duration of the internship. Housing stipend provided.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- The minimum wage for this position is EUR 40,922 gross per year, with a starting salary of EUR 42,000 gross per year. You will also be eligible to participate in Sentry's employee benefit plans/programs.
