About The Role
As a Software Engineer Intern in the Frontend team, you will be part of Ramp's mission to build the best engineering team in the US. This 12-week internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing company and work on complex, high-impact projects. You will be involved in building performant, beautiful, and usable interfaces, shipping products and services in cross-functional teams, and incorporating product feedback into engineering solutions.
What You'll Do
- Build and optimize user interfaces for our platform
- Collaborate with sales and business teams to integrate customer feedback
- Participate in establishing engineering processes and tools
What You'll Need
- Currently pursuing a B.S. or higher in Computer Science or a related field
- Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with object-oriented programming
- A track record of shipping high-quality products or projects
- Ability to turn business and product ideas into engineering solutions
Nice to Haves
- Proficiency in React v16+
- Familiarity with our tech stack including Flask, Elixir, AWS, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL
- Interest in financial technology
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly rate: $60 USD plus housing stipend
