Join the Issues team at Snyk, where you'll be at the forefront of solving complex challenges in the cybersecurity landscape. As a Mid-Level Software Engineer, you'll be instrumental in architecting and implementing data enrichment pipelines that transform raw data into actionable intelligence for security vulnerabilities.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop scalable, resilient Go services that integrate seamlessly with Snyk's broader platform.
- Implement scalable event and data pipelines for reliable delivery and ingestion of security information.
- Participate in team planning sessions using the Shape-Up process to refine project scope and align with customer needs.
- Collaborate with teammates to evolve existing implementations and champion best practices in Go development, reliability, and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot complex problems in data pipelines and distributed systems.
- Contribute to API design, ensuring interfaces are intuitive and empower customers to make informed security decisions.
What You'll Need
- 2+ years' experience in software development, with a focus on Golang.
- Comfort working with large scale distributed systems and data processing pipelines.
- A passion for solving complex technical challenges and working iteratively.
We'd Be Lucky If You
- Have production-level experience in Golang.
- Are familiar with Kafka-based data pipelines.
