About the Role
Join Snyk's Integrations team as a Senior Software Engineer, where you'll be pivotal in developing integration solutions that enhance our security platform. This role involves working closely with both fully cloud and hybrid customer infrastructures, developing connectors for AppRisk, and simplifying data ingestion processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and Evolve Integration Frameworks: Utilize modern programming techniques to actively develop and evolve the integration framework.
- Enhance Onboarding Processes: Work collaboratively to enhance the onboarding process and reduce customer friction.
- Build and Improve Connectors: Construct and refine connectors for diverse environments, facilitating easy data integration.
- Contribute to Architectural Decisions: Play a key role in making architectural decisions for scalable and maintainable integration solutions.
- Uphold Code Quality: Ensure high standards of code quality through rigorous reviews, best practices, and an understanding of the challenges faced by implementation teams.
- Mentor Junior Engineers: Provide guidance and foster the growth of junior engineers in integration development.
What You'll Need
- 5+ years’ experience in software development, particularly with Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Strong commitment to code quality and constructive code reviews.
- Passion for Test-Driven Development (TDD) and solving complex integration challenges.
- Proactive attitude focused on understanding and solving customer integration pain points.
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems is advantageous.

- Have experience in scaling SaaS applications, particularly in integration frameworks.
- Have leadership experience, either as a senior team member or in a formal leadership role.
- Have been part of a globally distributed team.
