Role Overview
Join Snyk's Review & Improve team as a Software Engineer, where you will be pivotal in building internal APIs that connect Snyk developers with source code management platforms like GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket. This role offers a unique opportunity to impact the developer experience by designing and implementing robust APIs in TypeScript and Golang, ensuring an exceptional, secure developer experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement technical solutions in TypeScript and Golang, focusing on a secure and exceptional developer experience.
- Support and contribute to innovative projects, collaborating with the team to build industry-leading services.
- Maintain and improve coding standards for creating reliable, observable, and scalable systems.
- Collaborate extensively across various departments and geographies, fostering a culture of inclusion and transparency.
- Engage with product partners and customer representatives to understand the development needs, ensuring solutions are customer-centric.
- Participate in pair programming and code reviews, offering and receiving feedback to foster personal and team growth.
- Ensure the stability and reliability of services, including participating in on-call rotations (compensated).
Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in building microservices and RESTful APIs using TypeScript and/or Go.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD tools, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Passion for improving developer experiences and addressing their challenges.
