Role Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our team in Mountain View, CA. As a new graduate, you will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects that push the boundaries of AI in software development. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain AI-powered developer tools that enhance coding efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
- Optimize system performance and scalability across various platforms and programming languages.
- Contribute to the development of our proprietary language models and inference stack.
- Engage in regular deployments and updates to ensure the reliability of our services.
What We Are Looking For
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Experience with AI/ML, distributed systems, or systems/infrastructure is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI-powered developer tools like Codeium, Copilot, or ChatGPT is advantageous.
- A team player with a self-starter attitude and the ability to work independently.
Recent Projects
- Deployment of an autocomplete and chat product for hundreds of thousands of daily users.
- Development of Codeium Live, a browser-based chat with popular repositories.
- Creation of a Kubernetes-native data processing framework for handling large data volumes.
- Implementation of a code attribution service for proper licensing of generated code.
- Performance optimization using Nvidia CUTLASS, CUDA C++, and PTX assembly language.
Work Environment
Our team operates in a highly collaborative and in-person environment. We believe that the best work is done face-to-face, and our office is located in downtown Mountain View, CA, within walking distance of the Caltrain station.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $140,000 to $220,000 per year, reflecting our commitment to attracting top talent in the industry.
