About the Role

As a Software Engineer at Meta, you will:

• Develop a strong understanding of relevant product areas, codebases, and systems.
• Demonstrate proficiency in data analysis, programming, and software engineering.
• Produce high-quality code with good test coverage, using modern abstractions and frameworks.
• Work independently, using available resources to overcome challenges and complete tasks on schedule.
• Master Meta’s development standards, from developing to releasing code, to tackle increasingly complex tasks and projects.
• Actively seek and provide feedback in alignment with Meta’s Performance Philosophy.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience coding in an industry-standard language such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript.
• Must have work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated software engineering experience from previous internships, work experience, coding competitions, or publications.
• Currently pursuing or have obtained a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
