About the Role
As a Software Engineer at Thomson Reuters, you will be part of a dynamic team that develops innovative software solutions for our clients. You will work with a variety of programming languages and technologies, including Java, J2EE, C#, C++, VB.NET, Python, Ruby, Groovy, Spring, Angular, Tomcat, Jenkins, AWS, Azure, and more. You will also have the opportunity to work on mobile development for iOS and Android platforms, as well as relational databases like Oracle, DB2, and SQL Server.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software applications using a variety of programming languages and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
About You
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A strong desire to learn new technologies and improve your skills.
- Excellent problem analysis, problem solving, and issue resolution skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work independently or as part of an agile development team.
