About the Role
As a New Graduate Software Engineer, you will:
- Design, code, test, and debug features: You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from initial design to deployment.
- Ship code to production: Your work will directly impact millions of users worldwide.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with Roblox's Design, Product, Data, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality products.
- Report to various teams: Coordinate with different teams to ensure the successful implementation of features and products.
What We Are Looking For
- Educational Background: You should possess an undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C#, Lua, Java, Go, Node.js, Ruby, Python, C++, or Swift.
- Passion for Technology: A strong interest in games, user-generated content, and social networking.
- Problem Solving: Ability to excel in ambiguous environments and quickly develop proficiency in coding standards.

Location
This role is based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA. We offer a hybrid work model, with in-office days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and optional in-office days on Monday and Friday.
Salary
The starting base pay for this position is $150,120 per year. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs, and market demand.
