We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Software Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team in Tampa, Florida. The ideal candidate should be passionate about technology and eager to learn and contribute to our software engineering initiatives. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in coding, testing, and documenting, while working alongside experienced software engineers.

Essential Functions

• Develop and Maintain Software Applications: Learn how to develop and maintain software applications using .NET and/or Node.js frameworks.
• Data Management: Design and implement data models, data warehouses, and ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data.
• Collaborate with Senior Developers: Work closely with senior developers to design and implement software solutions.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Participate in code reviews to improve code quality and maintainability.
• Debugging and Troubleshooting: Debug and troubleshoot software issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
• Software Architecture: Contribute to the design of software architecture and system integrations.
• Continuous Learning: Continuously learn and develop your skills to become a more proficient and valuable member of the development team.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Incident Investigation: Carry out an incident investigation to find and report the root cause.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in software engineering.
• A continuous learner with a passion for innovation and picking up new languages and skills.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as .NET and/or Node.js frameworks.
• Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
