Job Overview
Join AMD's Radeon Technologies Group (RTG) Architecture team as a Software Machine Learning (ML) Architect. In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing ML/AI solutions for next-generation GPU and ML products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore, model, and analyze ML/HPC workloads, providing insights into emerging hardware and software technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Algorithm Analysis: Analyze algorithms and develop scalable AI/ML models.
- Collaboration: Work with product and engineering teams to integrate AI/ML solutions into AMD’s products.
- Innovation: Collaborate with architects to propose innovative solutions that can be implemented in hardware.
- Data Exploration: Conduct data exploration, collect, and summarize data to derive solutions that improve model accuracy.
Preferred Experience
- Architectural Knowledge: Understanding of GPU and basic CPU architectures.
- ML Networks: Proficiency in Tensorflow/Pytorch.
- API Knowledge: Familiarity with Graphics/Compute APIs such as CUDA, OpenCL, Vulkan.
- Programming Skills: Strong experience in C/C++ and scripting languages like Python.
- Software Architecture: Knowledge of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Architecture, or Computer Science.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: €115,200 - €172,800 per year
- Incentives: Eligibility for annual bonuses and stock purchase plans.
