About The Role

The Global Affairs team is at the forefront of building authentic, collaborative relationships with public officials and the AI policymaking community. These efforts are crucial in shaping policy guardrails, industry standards, and the safe development of AI tools.
As a Solutions Engineer in the Global Affairs department, you will play a key role in helping public sector actors leverage OpenAI tools and products to achieve broad benefits for humanity. This includes accelerating progress towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals and fostering strong relationships with public sector leaders, civil society, and the AI policymaking community.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional stakeholder interaction experience.
- Provide technical expertise in AI adoption, use cases, and value propositions.
- Address technical requirements and product-related inquiries.
- Conduct demos, scope use cases, and develop proof of concepts.
- Serve as the primary contact for security and compliance queries.
- Develop and maintain essential documentation and guides.
- Nurture strong stakeholder relationships throughout the evaluation and adoption process.
- Advocate for stakeholders and relay their feedback to internal teams for product planning.
- Collaborate with the Global Affairs and GRC teams to ensure seamless experiences.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Passionate about the mission of AGI benefiting humanity.
- 7+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer or similar pre-sales role.
- Experience with technical enterprise products, particularly in security and compliance.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, especially with executives and leaders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Committed to the ethical development of AI.
