About the Role
As a Staff Backend Engineer at Detectify, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our cloud-based External Attack Surface Management (EASM) platform. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about solving complex customer problems using cutting-edge technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and data analysts to build and enhance our platform.
- Drive architecture decisions within your domain and contribute to cross-team architectural decisions.
- Utilize modern technologies such as event-based microservices and serverless architecture on AWS.
- Engage in cross-team efforts to improve our architecture and development environment.
- Participate in the full development lifecycle: think it, build it, ship it, measure it, own it, and tweak it.
Technologies You Will Use
- Event-based microservices and serverless architecture running on AWS.
- Modern development tools across the stack: Golang, Kafka, Terraform, AWS ECS/Lambda/AppSync, GraphQL.
Who You Are
- You have several years of experience in backend development, particularly with microservices or serverless architecture.
- You are comfortable working independently and collaboratively, sharing progress and solutions with your team.
- You are passionate about delivering value quickly and iterating on solutions to meet customer and business needs.
- You have experience in a Cloud-First environment and are familiar with modern Agile Product Development practices.
- You enjoy pair programming or mob/ensemble programming.
