Join Our Team as a Senior Backend Engineer
F-Secure Corporation is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bratislava, Slovakia. As part of our mission to revolutionize digital security, you will play a crucial role in designing and maintaining our third-party infrastructure solutions, particularly focusing on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Key Responsibilities
- Design, Build, and Maintain Backend Services: You will be responsible for developing the backend of our password vault, ensuring the security of millions of users' digital identities. This includes providing high-performance, high-availability APIs to frontend developers, mobile client teams, and external partners.
- Enhance Services within Our Architecture: Work on our large-scale microservices and service-oriented architecture (SOA) to ensure robustness and reliability.
- Automated Testing: Conduct unit, functional, integration, and other forms of automated testing.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation to enable self-service and facilitate smooth team collaboration.
- Customer Outreach and Support: Engage in internal customer outreach, advocacy, and support to ensure our solutions meet user needs effectively.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 5+ years of work experience in designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems in AWS. Experience in a similar product or SaaS company is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficient programming skills in Node.js and experience implementing RESTful services with APIs in a scalable cloud environment.
- Problem Solving: Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
- DevOps and Agile: Interest in DevOps and agile working methods.
- Language: Full professional proficiency in English.
- Work Model: Ability to work in a hybrid model and occasionally visit our office in Bratislava.
