Deel is seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer with expertise in Node.js and Go to join our dynamic engineering team. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Frontend Engineers, Product Teams, Designers, and QA to develop robust new features and APIs.
• Participate in product planning from discovery to deployment, providing input at all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Ensure our customers receive a white-glove experience with our products by continuously improving our industry-leading solutions and fixing any bugs at Deel Speed.
• Advise on best practices and be a thought leader in your field.

Required Skills and Experience

• Expert knowledge of Node.js and at least one other server-side language, preferably Go.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript syntax.
• Strong database skills, particularly with SQL and NoSQL databases, mainly PostgreSQL and ORM libraries such as Sequelize.
• Good understanding of AWS Services such as S3, EKS, SNS, and SQS.
• Experience with serverless app architecture on AWS.
• At least 8 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
